Cupola di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola

Caffè Sant Eustachio

In the surroundings of Piazza di Spagna, you can go to via Margutta,
which is a little and discrete street behind via del Babuino. A part
of Vacanze Romane was filmed there, and Valadier had a house there.
It's full of charm and very different from the noisy streets full of
tourists around.

If you haven't done it yet, you can go at the top of San Pietro's
cupola. It's one of the most beautiful views over Rome, you have the
hemicycle of Bernini at your feet…

Some little things amusing to notice: the cupola of San Ignazio in
Loyola, the perspective of Borromini at the entrance of Palazzo Spada,
the tempietto from Bramante in San Pietro in Montorio.

If you like wall frescos you can visit Villa Farnesina in the
Trastevere, it's not very long to visit and walls are decorated by a
group of painters from the Rinascita.

And obviously I like all the part of the Celio close to Villa
Celimontana: the church Santa Maria in Domnica (quite sober and calm),
the path along the villa which passes in front of San Pietro e Paulo,
then in front of San Gregorio Magno before joining Circo Massimo.
In this path, there is the entrance of the Case Romane del Celio: old
houses discovered under the church San Pietro e Paulo, which have old
frescos.

The church Santa Prassede has beautiful Byzantine mosaics.

And maybe you already know the famous tiramisu from Pompi and the
famous coffee of caffè San'Eustachio (piazza San Eustachio, if you
raise your head, you can see the baroque top of the church San Ivo
alla Sapienza)

Final del Viaje

From there the voyage to Iffish was not long.
They came in to Ismay harbor on a still, dark evening before snow.
They tied up the boat Lookfar that had borne them
to the coasts of death's kingdom and back,
and went up through the narrow streets to the wizard's house.
Their hearts were very light
as they entered into the firelight and warmth under that roof;
and Yarrow ran to meet them, crying with joy
