Ya no es dieciocho
solo eso...
quince besos
I miss you, Begoña
Saying goodbye is hard
Well it's official, yesterday I started to leave. Last dinner with Olivier, talking about the past and our future projects. He wants to leave G-POD!!! :D. Well I guess it's a sign that we all have to move on.
Coming back home from Frascati I remembered the first day that I arrived to Frascati and all the things that have happened in these three years. Let's say that I feel a bit sad today. I guess it's time for a dinner at Pantheon.

Don't you forget about me...
Finally got the proper focus for this blog. Shame that I like the title as it is now (and anyway it would be a bit too pathetic to title it like that) Now I know what I will posting here (although I'm sure I will change my mind after a while)
If you want to listen to the song
If you want to listen to the song
Not yet :-)
Well, it seems that the report of the death of the Wilkins Ice Shelf was an exaggeration. What the spanish scientists saw was the breaking up of the melange west of the Wilkins. You can see the updated news
A melange is a mixture of sea ice and glaciers that stick together thanx to the sea ice. It tends to be much weaker than the ice shelf but sometimes it can last for decades.

has it started?
It seems that the breaking up of the wilkins ice shelf has started, you can read the news here (sorry for the spanish, but they are the ones breaking the news...)
It's not clear yet what is happening. And I'm not too convinced if only because satellite images haven't shown anything yet and it's weird that the first news comes from a spanish paper....
I will keep you informed

At last my pet project is finished
It has taken longer than expected (much longer!) but finally my Wilkins Ice Shelf spacecam is finished. I hope that it will be around a long time...
Que tal el finde?
