Wilkins collapse aftermath

Well wilkins keeps breaking away from Antarctica and the workd has started to notice. Several newspaper have already posted the news. The one I prefer is El Pais. It was one of the first and has some of the best images.

The reason behind it is that I told them the news as soon as it broke off and told them where they could get the images. The reason I did it is that in mid February they really blew it announcing that the Wilkins had broken away. I had to endure a week of "politeness" about the mistake of the spanish newspaper and decided to give them a hand next time. (Of course they waited for Reuters to confirm it :-D)

Well if you want to see one of the firsts and one of the bests (till now) news pieces about the Wilkins collapse take a look at EL PAIS  (sorry, in spanish)

Meanwhile you can take a look to the last image (not yet available to the general public) You can see the slow collapse of the ice bridge and the new rifts that are appearing in the main ice shelf. It really looks we will get a big breakup
